"C" Squared

Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, three, two, One. It’s the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve and 2019 is here! Chris and Carissa celebrate with a beautiful confetti shower and champagne in hand, 175 of their closest family and friends, sealed the night with a New Year’s kiss.

Chris and Carissa found each other on plenty of fish on Thanksgiving of 2014. From there a beautiful relationship blossomed. The day was “Perfect” everything they had imaged. The couple had longed for a destination wedding but decided to stay close to home so their loved ones could be there to celebrate with them.

The couple’s attire was well suited to their new year’s wedding. Chris the groom wore Toronto Maple Leaf cuff links, the boutineer had a hit of new year’s décor. and both couples wore the jewellery they gifted each other prior to the wedding the bride her ear rings to match her beautiful diamond ring. The groom a watch gifted by his then beautiful then fiancé.

The bride was beautiful. She unexpectedly purchased her dress at a pop-up sale. Sometimes people just know what is right for them. The bride purchased the very first dress she put on! Despite trying other styles, she had thought she would prefer. The bride wore beautiful white lace flats to compliment her dress and veil Her bouquet had hits of New year’s colours and Christmas decor.

Although the bride’s father is not with us anymore her necklace of choice was worn in memory of her father. It had his fingerprint on it. The bride had hints of her dad throughout the day. Her bouquet had a picture of him on it and to gracefully top it all off her something blue was a blue heart stitch on the left side of her dress over her heart, so the presence of her father was with her for the day.

The first look was full of emotion. Done in room full of empty chairs in preparation of the ceremony. Chris stood by the Christmas tree. Where 2 hours later the couple said I do. One of Carissa’s favourite moments from the day. As she walked toward Chris anticipating the very moment when he would turn around to see his beautiful bride Carissa. It was a very intimate moment Carissa will remember for years to come. Chris loved dancing a waltz with his wife as their first dance together as Mr. and Mrs. Topped off with kissing his bride at midnight under a confetti shower. The couple planned this as their intimate time. It was just the video and photo team and the couple. Intimate moments before the day takes off.

The reception was elegant. The venue they chose was well suited to their day. Beautiful Chandeliers, White and Black accented with hits of gold throughout the décor. With candle lit tables and Gold sparkly vases with white flowers for the center pieces created by Carissa. The amazing 20ft Christmas trees with warm beautiful white lights. The speeches and dances were amazing. All 3 sides of their family shared stories and memories about Chris and Carissa.

The guests were invited to take part in a photo booth, a celebratory shot and open bar. They were then served the most amazing dinner. With late night Candy, Popcorn bar and New Years Eve Hats, Horns and Glow Sticks and pet treats don’t forget about the furry friends. Avid dog lovers. The couple added a treat section to their tables for guests to take a treat for the pet pals too. The couple served cupcakes and cut their cake. The cake toppers were made to look just like them sporting their wedding date just another piece of the uniqueness of this day.

Despite the being worried about tripping and falling while walking down the aisle with her brother by her side to give her away. Being worried about saying or doing something silly during her vows the bride was beautiful, Full of elegance and grace! This wedding has set the bar for 2019. Absolutely stunning!
